Church Picnic - Sunday June 30
Our annual Church Picnic is Sunday June 30 immediately following the Renewal Gathering at the outdoor YMCA pavilion located on the north side of the Y's parking lot.
Please RSVP for all family members who will be eating to help us get an idea of how much food to provide! If you would like to help cover the cost of the food there will be a suggested donation of $5 for individuals or $15 per family of 4 or more.
5th Sunday - June 30
Sunday, June 30th is a "5th Sunday" for CC Kids. On 5th Sundays we close the preschool, K-1, and 2nd-3rd grade CC Kids classes. Instead, these children will attend the worship service with the rest of the church. We will have “sermon note sheets†and crayons available in the gym. Please feel free to bring any other items you may want to have during the service. Our Nursery and Toddler (Yellow, Blue, and Red) rooms will still be open and staffed as normal.
We believe there is great value in the age-appropriate, gospel-centered Bible lessons taught by the fantastic teachers who serve in CC Kids, and we also believe there is great value in children worshipping with their parents and observing their parents worship along with the whole church. These 5th Sundays provide a great regular rhythm to do just that.
Newcomer Brunch - July 14
New or new-ish to Christ Community? You are invited to a Newcomer Brunch at the Berkey’s home following the Renewal Gathering on July 14. More info + RSVP here.
Men’s Retreat
Save the date! The annual Men’s Retreat will be Sep 27 - 28. More info to follow.
