This Week's Sermon Scripture

Matt. 8:28-34
Sunday Mornings
As we continue to settle into our new space, here's a summary of some of the reminders:

Parking:
We have 3 convenient parking areas available for you when you arrive Sundays:
  • Knollwood Lot (Public): Located at the corner of Knollwood Dr. and S. Neil St. in the Shops of Knollwood lot. We encourage early arrivers and volunteers to use this lot first.
  • Christ Community Building: Parking surrounds the entire perimeter of our main building.
  • NuTech Seed: Additional parking is available directly to the east of our building.

Multipurpose Room:
Post-service, kids are welcome to gather in the multipurpose room, but there will not be dedicated adult supervision.

CC Kids Check-in Process:
We are transitioning to a new digital check-in and check-out system to make Sunday mornings smoother and more secure for your family. Please download the free Church Center app on your phone:
https://churchcenter.com/setup

Once you open the app, search for our church by typing in Champaign, or use your phone's location services if you are nearby. Log in securely using your mobile number, which will automatically link the app to the profile we already have on file for your household.
You will be able to use the app to check your children in on your way to church and scan your phone at our lobby kiosks to instantly print name tags. You’ll also be able to use a digital security receipt on your screen for quick classroom pickup!

Seating:
We want to make walking into the sanctuary as inviting and accessible as possible, especially for newcomers who may not want to look for seats beyond the back rows. We invite you to come and sit in the front rows to open up more back rows seating. Don't be shy!

Stories from the Desert: Ministry Update with Jess Villie
Join us for a casual, small group gathering with Jess Villie as she shares stories and updates from her ministry in the Middle East. There will be time for conversation and questions. Kids are welcome and snacks/dessert will be provided! Please sign up for one of the 2 options available for catching up with Jess:
6/20 in Mahomet
6/22 in Savoy

Women's Summer Bible Study: Hebrews 1-6 - Begins tonight!
Come and study Hebrews chapters 1-6 with other women this summer! We'll be using the In the Word series (by Joel Beeke & Paul Smalley) to aid us in our study. For each chapter, this devotional workbook provides space to write out key scripture passages and guided reflection questions that help you move from reading to understanding to life application. You can purchase a copy on Amazon here. Sign up below for Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30p at the church! June 17-July 22.

NEW: Midweek Manna, Elders & Staff Edition. This week from UnChong:

1). If you're missing Ecclesiastes and have already read Living Life Backward (David Gibson) and Everything is Never Enough (Bobby Jamieson), check out Why Everything Matters by Phil Ryken. I especially loved chapter 8 titled, "The Crook in the Lot," taken from puritan Thomas Boston's sermon by the same title.

"Whether things seem crooked or straight, we need to see our situation in terms of the sovereign goodness of God."

2). I'm deviating here from strictly spiritual recommendations and I'm sharing a heart-squeezing article written by a father sharing about his son's autism and what has flooded his mind as his child took his last school bus ride. I love the big message that every life is worth living and honoring, as well as the expression of a father's big love for his son. Judson's Last Ride
