This Week's Sermon Scripture
Matt. 9:1-8
Sunday Mornings
As we continue to settle into our new space, here's a summary of some of the reminders:
Parking:
We have 3 convenient parking areas available for you when you arrive Sundays:
Multipurpose Room:
Post-service, kids are welcome to gather in the multipurpose room, but there will not be dedicated adult supervision.
CC Kids Check-in Process:
We are transitioning to a new digital check-in and check-out system to make Sunday mornings smoother and more secure for your family. Please download the free Church Center app on your phone:
https://churchcenter.com/setup
Once you open the app, search for our church by typing in Champaign, or use your phone's location services if you are nearby. Log in securely using your mobile number, which will automatically link the app to the profile we already have on file for your household.
You will be able to use the app to check your children in on your way to church and scan your phone at our lobby kiosks to instantly print name tags. You’ll also be able to use a digital security receipt on your screen for quick classroom pickup!
Seating:
We want to make walking into the sanctuary as inviting and accessible as possible, especially for newcomers who may not want to look for seats beyond the back rows. We invite you to come and sit in the front rows to open up more back rows seating. Don't be shy!
Women's Summer Bible Study: Hebrews 1-6 - Begins tonight!
Come and study Hebrews chapters 1-6 with other women this summer! We'll be using the In the Word series (by Joel Beeke & Paul Smalley) to aid us in our study. For each chapter, this devotional workbook provides space to write out key scripture passages and guided reflection questions that help you move from reading to understanding to life application. You can purchase a copy on Amazon here. Sign up below for Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30p at the church! June 17-July 22.

NEW: Midweek Manna, Elders & Staff Edition. This week from Mitch:
1 - This article: “Vanity Fair” - This past Sunday, Matthew 8 showed us a town asking Jesus to leave when following Him became costly. As we continually count the cost of following Jesus, who doesn’t need encouragement to keep saying “yes” to Jesus and “no” to the things of the world? This article is a reflection on “Vanity Fair” from Pilgrim’s Progress and a reminder of why and how to consider Christ more worthy than anything the world can offer.
2 - This interview with Gavin & Ray Ortlund ( Spotify / Apple / YouTube ) - Watch the first 10 minutes to see a father & son outdo one another in showing honor, and consider the challenge of living a lifetime of integrity. Then - as a bonus - watch the rest of the interview for a timely consideration (during these summer months) of one significant way to defy the devil - slow down and enjoy the God-given pleasures of life.
