Baptism Class
Interested in getting baptized? Join us Sunday, October 4th after our renewal gathering to learn more about what baptism is, what the Bible has to say about it and what the next steps are. The class will be held at 11:45 in the 4th grade room.

Champaign Aruna Run – Saturday, October 17
Sign up early to join us for the 11th Annual Champaign Aruna Run on Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. at the Arboretum! Walk or run the 5K and help fight human trafficking — 100% of registration fees and donations go toward freeing, employing, and empowering survivors.

Registration Open for the Fall 2026 CC Men's Retreat!
This fall's Christ Community Men's Retreat on 30-31 October 2026 and will be held at Twin Lakes Christian Camp in Hillsboro, IN (approximately 1 hour east of Champaign).  The retreat will start with dinner on Friday 30 October and will end mid-afternoon on Saturday 31 October.  The focus of this year's retreat will be the topic of Biblical Manhood.  Past retreats have been very encouraging for many of the men of the church and they provide a great opportunity to deepen your community in the church through fellowship, hear some solid Biblical teaching / seminars, and have time to reflect and pray.  Please consider registering and please spread the word to other men in the church!

Midweek Prayer
Every Tuesday, 12:15-12:45p at the church, is midweek prayer, and we invite you all to join us for 30 minutes of connecting with God together!

Pre-service Prayer
Everyone is welcome to join in every Sunday morning prior to the Renewal Gathering, 9:30-9:50am in the conference room (behind the stage) for a short prayer meeting lifting up our church.

Midweek Manna, this week from UnChong:
1.) Deep Dish podcast episode that I listened to recently -very much encouraged my heart. Godly perspective from a woman with a terminal condition.
2.) A book I had to read for my Methods of Biblical Counseling course. One of my favorites of the year- talks about how our hearts are always responding cognitively, affectively (emotions), and volitionally (we have certain things we are committed to). And we need to address all of those response streams when we want to seek growth or change. Great insights and lots to unpack!
