Foster Care Kits
Kids in foster care can spend a lot of time in DCFS worker’s cars, so we want to give car kits to DCFS with small toys, cleaning supplies, and basics! We will be collecting supplies for the month of July. Please consider buying items off the Amazon List to help us make the kits:

There will be a spot near the welcome table to drop off supplies. We will be praying over the kits in August!

All Church Picnic & Fellowship
Our Annual Church Picnic is almost here! Join us on Saturday, August 8, from 12:00–2:00 PM at the church building for an afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, coworkers, or family to experience the community at Christ Community. We'll enjoy a Chick-fil-A lunch and other treats, along with bounce houses and outdoor activities for kids, lawn games, and plenty of space both inside and outside to relax, connect, and catch up with one another. We hope you'll make plans to join us and invite someone to come along!
RSVP

Lost & Found
We have a lost and found bin at our welcome table. Please see Alyssa at that table if you are missing something!

Midweek Manna, Elders & Staff Edition. This week from Scott:

This past winter I was greatly encouraged by an episode of Ask Pastor John. I have thought of it several times since then. Definitely worth a 15 minute listen: Episode 2213 “What a Fruitful Devotion Looks Like” Click Here

The most impactful book I’ve read this past year was Matthew McCullough’s book “Remember Heaven: Meditations on the World to Come for Life in the Meantime”. So many great perspectives! Chapters 3-7 were my favorites. The reality of heaven speaks (shouts) to so many of the facets of life that are a challenge to us: from grief to anxiety to sanctification and community. I highly recommend. Click Here
