Registration Open for the Fall 2026 CC Men's Retreat!
It's not too late to register for the men's retreat!
This fall's Christ Community Men's Retreat on 30-31 October 2026 and will be held at Twin Lakes Christian Camp in Hillsboro, IN (approximately 1 hour east of Champaign).  The retreat will start with dinner on Friday 30 October and will end mid-afternoon on Saturday 31 October.  The focus of this year's retreat will be the topic of Biblical Manhood.  Past retreats have been very encouraging for many of the men of the church and they provide a great opportunity to deepen your community in the church through fellowship, hear some solid Biblical teaching / seminars, and have time to reflect and pray.  Please consider registering and please spread the word to other men in the church!

Pre-service Prayer
Everyone is welcome to join in every Sunday morning prior to the Renewal Gathering, 9:30-9:50am in the conference room (behind the stage) for a short prayer meeting lifting up our church.

Midweek Manna:

1. John Piper and Tim Keller discuss together the biblical vision of sanctification- that is, becoming holy as God is holy.
2. Quote from Jay Sklar on everyday holiness: "So while Leviticus emphasizes the importance of maintaining distinctions between the sacred and the non-sacred, the holy and the non-holy, it also emphasizes that everyday acts of kindness and love and mercy are incredibly sacred, incredibly holy, because they show forth the incredible kindness, love and mercy of the One who is ultimately sacred and holy. This is not how I grew up thinking about holiness. But it is how Leviticus things bout it. It is how Jesus thins about it (Luke 10:29-37). What would happen in our churches if we all began to think of holiness in these ways?"
3. A little funny and also true
