Welcome Team
Do you love meeting new people? If a warm smile and friendly eye contact come naturally to you, we'd love for you to serve with the Welcome Team!

One sweet blessing of being in our new building has been seeing more new faces walk through our doors each Sunday! In just the first few services, our Welcome Team has had more opportunities than usual to connect with guests who are looking to learn more about the church and get connected. To help serve these newcomers well, we're looking to add a few more people to our Welcome Team. Please reach out to our hospitality deacons if interested: Alyssa Brewer lyssa.brew@gmail.com or Andy Schmitt andyschmitt17@gmail.com

For each chapter, this devotional workbook provides space to write out key scripture passages and guided reflection questions that help you move from reading to understanding to life application. NEW: Midweek Manna, Elders & Staff Edition. This week from Pat:
In the summer of 2003, Craig and I were gearing up to head to China for a one-year mission trip with Cru. Our senior year had ended just a few weeks earlier, and we were in the middle of building a team of people who would support us through prayer and financial giving.

Long before the summer began, several of our friends had signed up to attend the Passion OneDay 2003 conference in Sherman, Texas. It was going to be an epic road trip! But as the departure date approached, my ministry support coach and I concluded that I needed to stay behind and continue the hard work of raising my support team.

I still remember watching the car full of guys drive away as I made the decision to stay back and work. I'll be honest, I wasn't happy about it. I'd like to say I was making a faithful decision, but I think my support coach more or less told me I needed to stay.

The evening they left, while I couldn't be at the 2003 conference with my friends, I returned to a sermon from the 2000 Passion conference. It was the message God had used to grip my heart for the nations and lead me to invest my time overseas to proclaim the gospel.

Over the next five days, while my friends were away, God raised up the remaining 30% of my financial support. That sermon remains one of the most significant tools God has used to shape my heart after His own. Here it is

As an added bonus, here is the new rendition of the old hymn "Take My Life" from the 2003 conference that I listened to on repeat in China that next year.
