Youth Group (grades 5–12) is kicking off the fall!

We’ll have games, hot dogs, and a great afternoon together. We’d love to see you there!
CC Kids "5th Sunday"
This Sunday, August 30th is a 5th Sunday
This means our Preschool through 4th grade classrooms will be closed. There are a couple reasons for this. First, our Preschool through 4th grade volunteers faithfully serve once every four weeks, so we close those classrooms on months where there is a 5th Sunday. We also believe there is great value in children worshiping alongside the entire church family. "5th Sundays" give us a meaningful, regular opportunity to do just that. Our Nursery & Toddler rooms (Blue & Red) will remain open and be staffed as usual. Plus, we'll will have “sermon note sheets” and crayons/pencils available at the welcome table for kids sitting in the service. Please feel free to bring any other items you may want to have during the service.
Deep Discipleship - LAST DAY TO REGISTER
Deep Discipleship, the 24-week church discipleship program we are participating in as a church, begins on Wednesday, 9/2. IMPORTANT: Due to the accurate numbers and names of registrants needed (kids included), if you haven't done so yet, register today. We are anticipating a great year as we dive into this together!

College Student Lunch
College students come join us for a lunch following the service this Sunday (August 30)! We want to meet you, welcome you to the church and connect you with other students!

Midweek Prayer
Every Tuesday, 12:15-12:45p at the church, is midweek prayer, and we invite you all to join us for 30 minutes of connecting with God together!
College Students Returning
The town is bustling with college students returning, and we anticipate some of them returning to Christ Community as well in the coming weeks! Keeping them and other newcomers in mind, we would love for you all to move to the front-most rows in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings, allowing more seats near the doors to be freed up for them.
Lost & Found
We have a lost and found bin at our welcome table. Please see Alyssa at that table if you are missing something!
Midweek Manna, back to school edition:
1). A back to school prayer, a Liturgy for Blessing a Dorm Room or Apartment, and a Liturgy for Dropping Off a Child at School.
2). A quick, helpful podcast in this big transition time!
3). TGC article about dropping your kids off at college, with some Ecclesiastes undertones!
